A film by Digital Media Art & Design rising Senior, Tessa Klingensmith, has been selected to screen at the PUSH! Film Festival in Bristol, TN/VA. Klingensmith’s film, Go the Distance, is a visual adaptation of a song by the same name composed by Alan Menken with lyricist David Zippel . It will be included in “Shorts” Block 2 on Saturday at 3pm, in the Paramount.

Klingensmith is scheduled to complete her degree with a thesis body of work and exhibition in Spring 2016. She also serves as the Photo Club president, is interning at the William King Museum of Art in Abingdon, VA, and works at Blackbird Bakery in downtown Bristol.
